Food is good, short staffed on the day we went so terribly slow service. Not the best evening I'm afraid

A nice enough venue to meet friends and family and socialise. Good choice of beers. I was surprised as hasn't heard great things about the food but what we ordered tasted good! I've heard their Sunday roasts are good....maybe next time

Golf Clubs

Humberstone Heights Golf Course

Excellent place for family fun first time in my life me and my family got test of golf we all enjoyed we will go again

Ive never played golf before, but after trying the golf range available, I think I'm going to come back and test out my skill. It's also a great place to just do your own thing and chill. It does get quite busy at peak times though.

The Leicestershire Golf Club

Evington Ln, Leicester LE5 6DJ, UK – 0116 273 8825

One of the best courses in Leicestershire, still has very high standards for even the guests playing. Make sure you check the dress code on the website as they will turn you away if you are not dressed appropriately. Everyone is very friendly and the food is amazing.

Well the course was tough enough without the additional remnants of a storm. Course was in good condition, greens decent for October. Clubhouse is in good condition with great views over the course from an elevated 1st floor. Staff very friendly and obliging. Food is of a good standard too. Will be a better course to play when the new par 5 tees are introduced. Worth a visit regardless

Belgrave Playhouse

130-134 Harrison Rd, Leicester LE4 6BS, UK – 0116 268 1423

Very friendly people and my kid is happy there. I wish they had a bit better ie. healthier food. Also making sure that kids don't go outside wearing short sleeves when it's cold would be a benefit. I do recommend it though, kids have some good activities there.

Went here with my 2 older brothers when we're younger (back in the 80's and 90's). Loved it 😊 If I lived in the area, I would happily send my kids there

Leicester Nirvana F. C.

Hamilton Park, Sandhills Ave, Leicester LE5 1LU, UK – 07928 973948

Got everything a good football pitch should have and would expect. The pitch is looked after and is fully fenced to keep the dogs off it and keep it clean for the players who are playing on it. There is a cracking build v with toilets and a good sized room for after game relaxing, changing rooms are there plus outside seating area which is used for all sorts of activities throughout the year we've to some good events here. Love all the open ground around the outside of the fence we walk the dog around there and in the summer and have had family picnics. We love it around there definitely one for the summer.

Can mainly rate catering facilities as we rented it for family gathering. It is relatively cheap, decent kitchen, clean toilet but bit small and car park is tiny. Can't say much else from the football point of view except that pitch itself seems to be well maintained and looks okay, no seating for fans thought.
