Good dental practice opposite Victoria Park on London Road. Been going here for many years and the quality of treatment has been generally excellent. Parking is available at the rear with access through a fairly narrow gateway. It can be difficult to park at busy times, especially if you drive a big car! Paid for parking is available at Victoria Park's own car parks which are about 5 minutes walk away which have far easier access.
Been there for years. Only place I'd ever go to look after mine, and my families Teath
195 Thurncourt Rd, Leicester LE5 2NL, UK – 0116 243 2727
The receptionists and doctors work really hard at the practice. It' is not there fault even though it's frustrating you have to waste 30 mins or more phoning from 8:00 am to try and book an emergency appointment for that day and or book routine appointments to see a particular doctor. They do a triage service, where the doctor will phone you back, this has been invaluable at times, you have the right to refuse discussion with the receptionist the nature of your appointment, but I have had no problem discussing my problems, they are very helpful and have arranged prescriptions etc and liased with the doctor when I am unable to take a call back, due to being at work. Also the system stops most of the time wasted that phone in for a measly cold or sore lips! Due to Government cut in the Nhs! They were forced to close Leighton Road surgery, which has put huge pressure on Willowbrook and Springfield road surgerys; adding an extra 4000+ patients to the books! Blame the Government!!! not the receptionists!!!

dr.patel is the best!! Ask for him. He really listens to you and helps. The others are just a waste of time.
The staff are good and so are the docs, but the waiting times can be lengthy

I have just come out of Leicester General after treatment for a bladder tumour and was very impressed by my treatment, both surgery and nursing. However when it came to leaving it would probably have been easier to escape from Colditz. Why when the nursing is so good and the attention from consultants is brilliant can the discharge procedure be so chaotic? I was told I could leave at 12.45 on Monday and that it would take a few hours to get the procedure in place .I asked for an estimate of time and was told by a ward sister that the discharge letter would be with me by 4.00pm.Why 31/4 hours? I was asked by the sister if I needed medication to take home and by another nurse on a separate occassion. My problem was that I live in North Linolnshire and I had arranged for a friend to fetch me and I needed a rough time to save me having to wait about 7 hours as the trip for him takes about 3 hours so I could ring him in the hope my discharge would coincide with his arrival. I asked every now and then how things were going and was told that a nurse was keeping her eye on it as the original sister had left . At 4pm still no sign of the letter and my friend had arrived in the car park so I asked again and was told that the letter was being dealt with in a way that suggested not to keep bothering staff. At 4.20pm I went back to the ward desk and spoke to a different sister/charge nurse and asked what I had to do to get out. She asked me if I needed medication to take home and I said no I didn't to which she replied that in that case I could leave and that they would send the letter by post and said that this was the normal case. I have to say that she was very apologetic ,particularly when I said that I had been asked at least twice before about medication. Why can't this procedure be put into ward training and standardised or some system be in place to speed things up as it rather spoils what had been a very good experience up until then?
A fantastic local institution that has ably served the local community for over a century. It's worth waiting here if it means you see world class practitioners who are not going to fleece you in the process.

My son can't wait to go to school everyday- what more can a parent ask for!
Our daughter is currently at this school and she is flourishing. She absolutely loves it here, as do we. The quality and depth of teaching is fantastic as are the teachers who use a variety of methods to teach the children. I ( and many parents will agree with me ) have always found the atmosphere to be pleasant and supportive both towards students and parents. I can honestly say in the two years my daughter has been at the school we've never had a bad experience ( minus minor playground tiffs). ALL the staff are supportive and welcoming; the headmistress who is there to greet the students every morning, administrative staff, catering staff, teachers and assistants, site manager.. I could go on. In a nutshell this is an amazing school with equally amazing staff, we feel very grateful to be part of the school.

Both schools are open, why does Google say they're closed? They were both rated good by ofsted so they are doing something right
Amazing place thank Allah

Recent inspection report states "excellent in every category"
320 London Rd, Leicester LE2 2PJ, UK – 0116 270 5343
My two kids (year 2 & Reception) has started this school. I had few concerns in my mind related to last Ofsted report (2015) but school has undergone some good improvement ever since then. Some internal references have told me that a new principle & head teacher are already bringing this school to next level proved by latest ofsted inspection report issued about this school. They didn't increased overall rating but said school has improved in its facilities & teacher's training.
I have two children studying at LIA (class 6 and foundation 1 ) ; I am very happy with their growth within the school ,the teachers are very friendly and willing to help and whenever we had special requests or problems , they were very transparent and searched for solutions; I must mention that we came from Bangladesh last year;my elder son studied under a totally different style and curriculum and he was supposed to be class 3 abroad; he was behind the class at the beginning of year 5 and gradually became one of the best; his teacher ,Mrs Abraham, is truly one of the best teachers my son has ever had and she helped my son understand concepts that he has missed during this change in learning systems; even if the ofsted report wasn't favourable, my children are doing well,I do hope the school will be able to fulfill ofsted criteria soon
